Leave for the Haganah Museum in Tel Aviv for a tour and seminar to explore the geopolitical and strategic environment of Israel in the Middle East, pre-1948 with Prof. Ronen Hoffman, International Institute for Counter-Terrorism, Herzliya.

Enjoy lunch at Rendezvous, one of Tel Aviv’s iconic restaurants, located in the charming Neve Tzedek neighborhood.

Walking Through History

A walking tour to explore the rich history, heritage, and culture in celebration of the 110th Anniversary of the first Jewish-built city in modern times, with Sagi Asedo, licensed tour guide and expert in Israeli culture and history.

Dinner at Armando Fish Restaurant, on the Tel Aviv boardwalk, offering a great location for an excellent meal, using only the freshest of produce.

Tel Aviv: the Startup City of the Startup Nation

May 29th

Leave for the  International Institute for Counter-Terrorism, Herzliya to meet  Act.IL, a joint venture of the Israeli American Council and the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC), founded with the goal to create an online community that will act to promote a positive influence on the international public opinion towards the state of Israel via social media platforms.

“Media Showdown: How They Harm; How We Fix!”We’re the only organization that changes the conversation about Israel at every stage of the news cycle: before during and after, with HR senior staff.

Light lunch at the IDC.

Visit i24 News – an international 24-hour news and current affairs television channel based in Jaffa Port, Tel Aviv, which broadcasts in English, French and Arabic. Meet with journalists reporting from Israel.

Meetings with entrepreneurs and innovators of the Start-Up Nation at The Center for Israeli Innovation, spreading the Israeli narrative of innovation, technology and entrepreneurship, while demonstrating the unique story of the Israeli hi-tech industry.

Dinner at L’entrecote, one of Tel Aviv’s best kosher meat restaurants.

The Struggle for Land

May 30th

Assisted check-out of Hilton Hotel.

Today’s program will be led by Lee Glassman, tour guide, historian & archaeologist.  Included in our itinerary will be:

  • A visit to Independence Hall, where Jewish independence was declared in 1948, with exhibits on this event & city history.
  • Lunch in Rechovot  
  • A tour of the Ayalon Institute, a secret ammunition factory disguised as part of a kibbutz to fool the British back in the 1940s. Between 1945 and 1948, the Ayalon Institute produced more than 2 million 9mm bullets;
  • A moving account of Machal Volunteers who lost their lives in Israel’s struggle for independence at the Machal Monument near Beit Shemesh.
